Embedded BIOS* 4.0

Embedded BIOS 4.0 is a highly-configurable full-source BIOS kit with over 400 source-level configuration options and 100 binary configuration options for customization to embedded hardware. Special features include a royalty-free Run-From-ROM DOS with a 32KB footprint, APM, Manufacturing Mode, Integrated Debugger, advanced SETUP screens, and seven disk drivers (Floppy, IDE, ATA, ROM, RAM, Flash, and Remote.) The BIOS footprint can be configured from 8KB and 64KB, depending on selected features. Reflashing of the BIOS and the integrated Flash disk on all Intel Flash parts is supported, including bulk erase, boot block, and sectored devices, including arrays and interleaved arrays. Support for the Intel386(tm)EX and Intel186EC including companion chipsets from RadiSys and others is available by adding-on CPU and Chipset Personality Modules. The Embedded BIOS Adaptation Kit includes 600 pages of technical documentation, ROM-building utilities, full BIOS source code, and system generation tools.
